Diversions to route between Arrochar/Tarbet

11th May 2016

Please note that the TLW path between Tarbet Rail Station and the village of Arrochar will remain closed until FEBRUARY 2017. This is because the Forestry Commission are constructing harvesting access roads on Cruaich Tairbeirt and the route is blocked. This is not a big problem if you are walking the Three Lochs Way as you can still use the footpath beside the A83 road or you can descend directly into Arrochar at the south end of the village and omit the section which takes you to Tarbet. If you have accommodation in Tarbet then you can still get there using the normal route on the south side of the Glen between the villages and then the footpath by the A83 to return to Arrochar and continue the route north.
